Mammad Zadeh is a Persian musician, composer, record producer, and technologist. He was a founding member and producer of the ground breaking group Axiom of Choice, formed in 1990 when he started collaborating with Loga Ramin Torkian. His location recordings have introduced masters such as Haj Ghorban Soleimani and Ali Abchuri to a wide audience in the West. He accompanied the contemporary setar instrumentalist Massoud Shoari on tombak in Karvan-e Saba, and produced Shoari’s follow up album Entezar. More recently he produced the band Kiosk and has been collaborating with Mohsen Namjoo on his latest album Alaki.
